The 2019 Builders Blitz went off without a hitch! We were able to successfully complete a home for our buyer, Lisa, in just 7 days!
Affordable housing in the Cape Fear region, was directly impacted by Hurricane Florence. Influencing Habitat for Humanity to rally together local builders to help build more affordable options in the community. In 2019, the number of homes Habitat has built has jumped two-fold.
During the dedication ceremony, Steve Spain, Executive Director of Habitat, said, “…the reality is every affordable home we build is a family who has safe, reliable, affordable housing and that goes don for generations as their children and others get to enjoy these affordable homes.”
We are so proud to have had the opportunity to make an impact on the greater good of our community. And, we are so grateful for all of our volunteers and staff who helped raises this house from the ground up. Check out some highlights from the event below.
